Who is Tarynn?

Love & Light! I want to give a little bit of insight into how I was called to this work. I have an extensive background in healthcare with over 7 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant in multiple fields (labor and delivery being one specialty) so I’ve always enjoyed helping people and being of assistance in times of need. I’ve admired birthing people and felt as though the birthing experience was a magical one for as long as I can remember. In my work with labor and delivery patients, I found there was a lack of advocacy and support for these new parents. This prompted me to complete a DONA certified course and became a Birth Doula in February 2020. In May of 2024 I became a Postpartum Doula through DONA. I got my Placenta Encapsulation Specialist certificate in March of 2024. My passion for this work has grown so much that in April of 2025, I began my journey as a midwifery student. It’s been an amazing gift helping mothers/birthing people, babies, and their families. I take a very holistic approach to your birthing experience including sound baths, meditation, body movement, and herbalism to name a few. I cannot wait to serve you!

MY APPROACH

  • Planting the Seeds

    You tell me how you want your ideal labor, birth, and postpartum experience to go and I will do my best to ensure you have the proper “seeds” or tools to get there. Pregnancy, birth and postpartum are not at all easy, so look to me to help you stay grounded during this time.

  • Watering You

    In order for you to be at your best during this entire experience, you have to believe that you are. I will be “watering you” or giving you encouragement throughout this time. You were made for this, I’m simply here help bring the confidence and magic out of you!

  • Watching You Bloom

    Whether you hire me as a birth, postpartum doula, or both, my hope is that when our time together ends, you will have the tools and confidence to “bloom” or thrive in this next chapter of your life. It won’t be perfect, but it will be an amazing journey!
